Scrumptious Sausage Jambalaya Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 package Jambalaya Mix
  • 2 ½ Cups Water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 package corn and black bean mixture or 2 cups frozen corn and 1 can of black beans
  • 1 lb precooked breakfast sausage or bratwurst, chopped


INSTRUCTIONS

 

  1. 1. MIX 2 1/2 cups water, Rice Mix, the meat of your choice, corn, and bean mixture, and 1 tbsp. vegetable or olive oil (optional) in a 3-quart saucepan until well blended. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover.
  2. SIMMER 25 minutes or until rice is tender.
  3. REMOVE from heat. Let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.
